MINUTES OF LYDIARD TREGOZE PARISH COUNCIL, MONTHLY MEETING, HELD ON 10 OCTOBER 2022, AT 19:00, HOOK VILLAGE HALL

 

 

1  Councillors Present: Cllr Collis, Cllr Henderson, Cllr Strange, Cllr Drury.

Cllr Rumming arrived during agenda line 7.

 

Apologies:  Cllr Luce, Cllr Woolford, Wiltshire Cllr Steve Bucknell.

 

2  To approve the minutes of the last meeting held on Monday, 26 September 2022.

Change $ to £ on item 7.b, and change “tenders” to “quotes” on item 8.d.

Proposed – Cllr Drury, seconded – Cllr Strange.

Resolved:  Approved with changes made, to be signed at later date.

 

3  To record declarations of interest from members regarding items on the agenda.

None

 

4  Clerk’s Report and Correspondence.

5    Planning Applications to Consider

a.  PL/2022/06894 – Wickfield Farmhouse, SN4 8QR – Removal of condition 1 of N/79/0637 (condition restricting occupation to agricultural workers or their dependents).

Resolved:  Noted, no comment.

 

Applications determined:

Decisions noted by council.

b.  PL/2022/03453 and PL/2022/03824 – Midge Hall, SN4 8ER – Install solar panels in adjoining paddock. Approved with Conditions

 

c.  PL/2022/06161 – Lower Salthrop Farm, SN4 9QW – Removal or Variation of a Condition 10 of PL/2021/06952. Approved with Conditions

 

 

6    Highway/Roadwork/Parish Maintenance to Consider.

Issues raised at meeting for clerk to action – Report to Wiltshire Highways a road accident at Salley Pussey entrance, two road signs, hedging and telephone poll demolished.

 

7    Other Business To Consider.

a.  For clerk to research new council insurance for 2023/2024 year.

Resolved:  Clerk will research companies for three (3) quotes.

 

b.  Projects/inclusions to consider for 2023/2024 budget.

Possible inclusions – Coronation, financing software, installation of EV point at village hall, ‘Work From Home’ payments.

 

8    Finance To Consider.

a.  Expenditures:

i.     RWB Poppy Appeal – Remembrance Sunday Poppy Wreath – £25 (cheque).

ii.    Information Commissioner’s Office – direct debit – £35 (To be taken 14 October).

Proposed – Cllr Henderson, seconded – Cllr Drury.

Resolved:  Payments approved.

 

b.  To approve 2nd quarterly financial report.

Proposed – Cllr Henderson, seconded – Cllr Drury,

Resolved:  Report accepted.

 

c.  To approve adjustment of clerk’s pay date to 27th of the month, resulting in one extra

payment in 2022/2023 financial year.

Proposed – Cllr Henderson, seconded – Cllr Drury.

Resolved:  Approved.

 

d.  Quotes for painting of BT phone box. – Closed to the public.

Proposal for quote B – Cllr Henderson, seconded – Cllr Strange.

Resolved:  Approval of quote B(Andy Brewster) for £360.

 

 

9    Matters Arising for Next Meeting.

  • 2023/2024 draft budget.

 

 

Determine date/time of next meeting.

14 November 2022, 19:00.

 

With all business concluded, the meeting closed at 20:00.

 

Please attend our Remembrance Sunday Service, 13th November 2022, 11:00 at the War Memorial, across from the village hall.  A prayer service will follow directly after in Hook Village Hall.  Tea/coffee/biscuits after.
