MINUTES OF LYDIARD TREGOZE PARISH COUNCIL, MONTHLY MEETING, HELD ON 6 FEBRUARY 2023, AT 19:00, HOOK VILLAGE HALL
1 Present:
Cllr Collis, Cllr Rumming, Cllr Henderson, Cllr Luce, Cllr Drury, Cllr Strange.
Rose Love – Clerk, Wiltshire Cllr S. Bucknell.
One member of the public.
Absent: Cllr Woolford.
2 To approve the minutes of the last meeting held on Monday, 9 January 2022.
Proposed – Cllr Rumming, Seconded- Cllr Drury.
Resolved: Approved.
3 To record declarations of interest from members regarding items on the agenda.

5 Planning Applications to Consider
*At the meeting, an Application for Street Trading Consent was brought to the council’s attention by Wiltshire Cllr Bucknell. Lydiard Tregoze had not been informed of the application.
a. Application for Street Trading Consent – Russell Kebab Van, A3102 lay by, SN4 8PA.
Resolved: No objection, but clerk to email questions concerning highway issues.
Applications determined: Decisions Noted by council.
PL/2022/06399 – Studley Grange Landfill Site, SN4 9QT – replacement of an electric generating engine with storage battery.
Approve with Conditions.
6 Highway/Roadwork/Parish Maintenance to Consider.
a. Top two priorities for next RWB & C Local Highways and Footpath Improvement Group.
Resolved:
- Safety issues at C414/Hook Street/Village Hall junction.
- Safety issues for pedestrians crossing C414 to Village Hall.
7 Other Business To Consider.
a. Finalise date/time of Annual Parish Meeting.
Resolved: 26 April 2023, 6pm-8pm.
b. Finalise move of monthly meeting dates for April and May due to bank holidays.
Resolved:
April: Monday, 3rd
May: Clerk will check with village hall if Tuesday the 2nd or 9th are available.
c. Finalise date/time of May coronation party for King Charles III.
Resolved: Monday the 8th. Clerk will check with village hall for times available.
d. Coronation mugs – design and number to order.
Resolved: No more than 100 mugs to order. Clerk will check with printing company for price on bone China mugs, possibly with the King’s face or cypher printed.
8 Finance To Consider.
a. Expenditures:
Pre-approved monthly payments only. (Clerk’s salary, Microsoft, Three)
b. Renewal of warranty for Dell laptop.
Terms and conditions had not been received by time of meeting.
Resolved: Table for next meeting.
9 Matters Arising for Next Meeting.
- Prices for anti-virus and extended warranty.
- ‘No littering’ signs on Flaxlands and Hook Street.
- Coronation mugs.
- Payments for notice board supplies and installation.
