24.78 Clerk’s Report and Correspondence.
24.78.1 Cllr Bucknell spoke of his concerns regarding the proposed developments and the impact on the road infrastructure etc around the area to cope with extra traffic etc
24.79 Planning

There were no planning applications at time of posting the agenda.
Highways/Maintenance Issues
24.80 Temporary closure of C414 Update
Cllr Bucknell is to contact Wiltshire Council Highways regarding the extreme pressures on the surrounding roads eg. Flaxlands, Hook Street being used as any diversion route.
24.81 Results of Traffic Survey – a discussion took place on findings, speed etc.
Other Business to Consider
24.82 Presentation by Katie Yates, Sarah Griffiths and Graham Whitehouse of Gatesby Estates regarding Land at Midge Hall Farm – See Public Participation
24.83 Acknowledgement of the work being carried out over the motorway bridge – correspondence to be sent in acknowledgement.
24.84 Proposed home for Swindon Speedway – no update yet on any pre-application from the Project Manager to be moved from Agenda pending update

- Grant application received from St Mary’s Church – £1K was approved.

- To approve Microsoft 365 payments for Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov (5 x £12.36) = £61.80
- To approve reimbursement to clerk for 4 x land registry searches £12.00 and SIM (search of the index map) £4 + postage £1.65 = £17.65
- To approve clerk’s salary for October 2024
