Wiltshire and Swindon Precept Survey

All residents in Wiltshire and Swindon are being asked to complete a short survey about the amount of policing budget Wiltshire Police will receive as part of your council tax. If the police precept stays the same, the Force will have to make a £5.5m worth of savings.

Would you like to see more investment to increase policing in your community?  Would you like to see Wiltshire Police receive more funding to continue investment in getting crime down, preventing crime, protecting the vulnerable and supporting victims across our county?  These are just two of eight questions that are part of the Police and Crime Commissioners precept survey. This will assist him with his decision to increase the police budget which will mean your council tax will increase slightly.

The survey closes on the 23 January so don’t miss out on your chance to have your say.
